This Sprinter van was in for a week long job where we turned a bare bones work van into the best sounding contractor van there is! It all starts with a Kenwood navigation unit in the dash w/ Apple Car Play and Android Auto.
– A JL Audio RD 500/1 powering 2x 10″ Morel Primo woofers in rear of the van.
– A JL Audio HD1200/1 powering 2x 12″ JL Audio TW3’s in sealed boxes behind each front seat.
– A Focal FPX4.800 multi channel amplifier powering a pair of Audio Frog 6×9 woofers up in the bulk head (mid bass only) and a pair of Focal K2 coaxials in the rear doors.
The Focal FPX4.400SQ powers the bi ampable Focal KX3 3 way set up front. With over 350′ of OFC wire, DB Link fuse and distribution blocks and 3 bulk packs of STP sound dampening this van sounds amazing! The rear of the van was also sound deadened, insulated, vapor barriered, wood paneled and then painted grey, a great upgrade!
We added a Pioneer Apple CarPlay headunit (not shown), Focal Front Speakers, Powerbass Rear Speakers, two Focal Compact Amplifiers, and a Focal 12″ Subwoofer!
The Van also received sound damping treatment for the front doors and in the cavity that houses the rear speakers.
