Both of the interfaces, the AXTC-FD3 and AXVI-FD3, retain key features, provide NAV outputs, accessory power, and a 12-volt illumination output, in addition to retaining R.A.P., balance, and fade. The main difference is that the AXTC-FD3 has a built-in AXSWC steering wheel control interface while the AXVI-FD3 does not (it has a pre-wired harness for the AXSWC, which is sold separately). Use the AXVI-FD3 for models that do not have audio controls on the steering wheel.
