Natural Sound opened its doors Friday June 1st 1979 at Westmount Mall in Waterloo. Owners Paul and Jon Connolly opened their second store a year later in downtown Kitchener.
In 1981, Natural Sound opened one of the first video stores in Kitchener, offering video machines and video tapes for rent and purchase in that brand new market.
Each store moved once to another location and in 1994, it moved for the last time to 645 Victoria St N where it occupies 17,000 sq ft, easily the largest independent store in the area. However, it is not the size of the store that counts, it is the service and advice delivered from our excellent staff. Natural Sound is very proud to boast that the bulk of the staff have been with the store for over 20 years. There is nothing like having experience staff members to serve our customers.
