We started my installing a set of @audiofrogusa G series 6.5″ components in the front doors. This included custom composite speaker plates and a butyl sound dampening on the door. We then treated the door panel with plenty of @stp_canada BiPlast 10 material to help reduce road noise and keep the sound where it should be.
The same treatment was done to the back doors, but this time we installed a pair of @kickeraudio 6.5″ KS coaxial speakers.Once that was done we then added our new favourite amplifier. The Kicker Key200.4 smart amplifier.
This amp gives 50w per channel to drive the speakers but it also includes a 40 band auto EQ, Auto Compression, Auto Time Alignment, Auto Speaker Size Detection and more, in a very small compact chassis.
The results were outstanding. Great midbass response.
A nice high clear centered sound stage. And you can’t tell anything was installed by looking at the car. It’s completely stealth.
