Conrad Leduc is the owner, salesperson and installer of this one man shop located in Sudbury, Ontario. With 20 years of car audio install experience, Leduc started off installing car audio as a hobby then moved into a position at Future Shop as a junior installer where he quickly transitioned onto the sales floor and quickly became the top sales consultant in Canada (winning a sales Circle of Excellence Award in the first year of sales). Today, he owns and operates a full time audio hifi shop and continues to learn and hone his craft each and every day.

Sudbury Car Audio(SCA) is an audio-only hifi shop. Offering the highest end options for the best mobile audio experience. With over 20 brands to choose from, SCA can offer any client audio solutions to accommodate their budget range. From the first time purchaser to the most discerning audiophiles, SCA has solutions for their wants and needs. SCA owns and uses the proper electrical testing equipment to asses new vehicle audio systems to know exactly which OEM integration parts to offer the client. For example, SCA is unique in its region to own and utilize an O-scope and RTA. Instead of using the run of the mill and inexpensive LOC units, SCA chooses to offer better performing solutions from Audio Control and Wavtech devices. Leduc states, “We take the time to asses a vehicle, show the client what their audio system is doing from the factory so they can better understand why they would need or want a summing device or DSP to help their new audio system sound that much better.”

Leduc attends mobile expos on an annual basis (except during Covid-19 of course) and considers these excursions an investment and an absolute must. “Attending mobile audio trainings and conferences offer us the leading edge in hands-on training, new vehicle information and problem solving techniques to be able to offer our clients the very best in audio solutions.” claims Leduc. “Having the confidence to perform 3-4 hour amp installs, and showing clients what we do in that time, why we do it and why it benefits them in the long run makes all the difference!”

Being an audio only shop, SCA proudly offers a full audio solution and humbly takes pride in being the best in the area. “From sound deadening (4 different brands and over 15 different types) to fast rings, speaker baffles, OFC amplifier wiring , amplifier ferruls, Ktex speaker rings (NOT wood)….there are a million little things that we do that others do not.” states Leduc.

Over the years, Conrad Leduc has accumulated quite the collection of achievements. Some of these accolades would include winning the Circle of Excellence (first year in sales, Future Shop, 2nd place top sales in Canada), multiple trophies and awards for Best in Show, Best Interior (fiberglass), Best I.C.E. (In- Car Entertainment) for both their own show car build and show car builds for clients and various SQ sound competition awards for the best sounding vehicles. Multiple mentions of work from JL Audio, Kicker, Morel Hifi and Focal on their social media platforms and also been key highlights.

The people in the industry that have helped me develop my skills, help train me and open my eyes to true hifi and bettering myself every day. I now find myself answering questions and providing guidance to new installers and business owners and I love giving back what was given to me be it either through training or advice.”
